Intenzyme Forte by Biotics Research is a broad spectrum proteolytic enzyme supplement that supports the numerous protein metabolism pathways. Proteolytic enzymes are capable of exerting influence over a variety of physiological and biochemical processes.

Intenzyme Forte contains proteolytic enzymes known to break-down proteins into amino acids. Therefore, proteolytic enzymes can be used to support the bodys digestion of protein-containing foods.

Proteolytic enzymes have also been shown to facilitate tissue healing after injury, presumably by breaking-down products of inflammation.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains:

Pancreatin 100mg
Bromelain 50mg
Papain 50mg
Trypsin & Alpha Cymotrypsin (from porcine) 100mg
Superoxide Dismutase (from vegetable culture*) 10mg
Catalase (from vegetable culture*) 10mcg

Other Ingredients: cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), silica, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and food glaze.

*Vegetable culture - specially grown, biologically active, containing naturally associated and/or organically bound phytochemicals including polyphenolic compounds with SOD and catalase, dehydrated at low temperatures to preserve associated enzyme factors.

Suggested Use

Adults: One tablet three times each day, away from food, or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional. Take at least one half hour before food and no less than 2 hours afterwards. DO NOT CHEW THIS PRODUCT.
 

Cautions

Do not use if you have ulcers or suspected ulcers of the GI tract.
Do not use if you have emphysema, anemia or take blood thinning agents.
Use caution before surgery.
Do not chew this product.
Excessive use can cause thickening of the colon in children with cystic fibrosis.
Do not use if allergic to pineapple.
