Ingredients

2 capsules contain:
Betaine Hydrochloride 480mg
L-Glutamic Acid Hydrochloride 480mg
Pancreatin (porcine) 140mg
Ox Bile concentrate 80mg
Pepsin (porcine) 70mg

Other Ingredients: hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule. May contain one or more of the following hypoallergenic ingredients to fill space leucine, silicon dioxide.

*Betaine Hydrochloride derived from a non-plant source. This product is not diluted with lactose. Individuals with porcine allergies should not take this product.

Suggested Use

Adults: Take 1-2 capsules with each meal or as recommended by a health-care practitioner.

For occasional use only. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.

Cautions

A woman who is pregnant or nursing, or who might become pregnant, should consult a healthcare practitioner before using this product. Keep out of the reach of children.

Consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health-care practitioner pior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency or cystic fibrosis. Do not use if you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes or pork proteins. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/epigastric pain and/or heartburn have been known to occur, in which case, discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner.

ADDITIONAL WARNINGS:
Bio-Gest should be used with caution in an individual with a history of a peptic or duodenal ulcer.

It is not recommended to remove the Bio-Gest powder from the capsule to take orally, as it can be irritating to the oral mucosa.
